Nathan S. Pierce | Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist

Mortgage Loans in UtahNathan S. Pierce has been active in the mortgage and banking industries since 1991. In 1994 he founded Advanced Funding Home Mortgage Loans, making it one of the top mortgage brokers in Utah. During this time he has worked in many aspects of the business, including, but, not limited to, loan origination, processing, underwriting, sales coaching, corporate training, and compliance and procedure managing.
 

Nathan has earned several recognitions and awards for his dedication to homeownership and independent mortgage professionals and mortgage brokers. He is a member of NAMB, The Association of Mortgage Brokers and currently serves as their vice president. Being one of only three Certified Residential Mortgage Specialists (CRMS) in the State of Utah makes him one of the most educated and tested professionals in the state and country. Nathan has also earned his Lending Integrity Seal of Approval for his pledge to adhere to a strict code of ethics, best business practices, and an ethics grievance review process. One of his greatest passions is serving the heroes of the U.S. military and one way he does this is by being a Certified Military Housing Specialist with USA Cares.

Most recently Nathan received the honor of being chosen as NAMB's 2017 Mortgage Professional of the Year. He was also honored to be the Utah Association of Mortgage Professionals 2016 Mortgage Professional of the Year. He served as the president of the Utah Association of Mortgage Professionals (UAMP) in both 2011 and 2015. In this role, Nathan is able to work with both state and national legislators in changing the ways in which both the mortgage and real estate industries are regulated. It also affords him the opportunity to fight for the rights of homeowners and future homeowners.
 

When not fighting to improve the housing industry Nathan spends time participating in his local community, coaching several youth sports teams, and spending as much time possible with his two teenage daughters and twin boys.
