Mortgage Loan Officer Career
Mortgage Loan Advisor/Loan Officer Salary/Pay: Commission

Expectations: Applicant must currently have or obtain a Utah Division of Real Estate Mortgage Officer license. To obtain a Mortgage Officer license you must attend a minimum of 20 hours of federally approved curriculum and 15 hours of state curriculum. In addition, applicants must pass a state-regulated exam that will test their knowledge of both State and Federal laws that pertain to the mortgage industry. Training is available to those in need of additional help in preparing for the exam. In addition, a criminal background check will be performed on all individuals applying for a license. It will be necessary to submit fingerprints upon passing the exam.
